Hypnotherapy and CBT for Children

Hypnotherapy and CBT for Children aged 7 years and over

Hypnotherapy with a Friendly and Flexible Approach

Hypnotherapy and CBT for children uses Hypnotherapy, story-telling and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) approaches, and it is possible to make really helpful changes for children.

Patricia’s approach is friendly and flexible to enable children with anxiety or learning issues to become more confident.  Life can become overwhelming and this can affect us all both mentally and physically.  The aim of a Hypnotherapy or CBT session is to help children from age 7 years through to teens to overcome their fears and any physical symptoms that may have been triggered as a consequence of a traumatic event or negative past-experience.  Hypnosis can help bullying, bedwetting, school phobias, negative thoughts, exam fears and also OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorders).

Patricia has had many years of experience of working with children to help them to overcome their fears, improve negative behaviours, gain confidence and initiate positive change in their lives.  There are many types of therapeutic treatment techniques that can be used to help them move forward and feel better about themselves.
